BuildGuard solves a problem no existing product does: continuous internal monitoring of concrete structures from the inside. Sealed sensor nodes are cast directly into wet concrete during construction, where they measure temperature, moisture, vibration, and strain for up to 20 years — no maintenance, no access needed.
Each node communicates through reinforced concrete via a custom LoRa protocol to gateway devices mounted on the building. Multiple sensors per floor enable triangulation of vibration sources, and multi-building networks can correlate events to detect earthquake or explosion epicenters.
The system provides real-time curing analysis during construction, long-term structural behavior tracking over the building's life, and instant alerts on abnormal structural events — all accessible through a cloud dashboard.
